Job Description
We're looking for a Performance Executive to join the team at PHD Media, supporting the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital performance campaigns.
This is a key role on a complex, high pressure account. Working on Virgin Australia and Velocity the Performance Executive will plan, optimise and report on digital media campaigns in an agile and fast-moving environment. The digital media billings for this client exceed $40M and therefore, this is a key lynchpin role in the team to ensure smooth delivery on a flagship account across all planning and execution.
You'll report directly to the Performance Manager and collaborate closely with planning teams, media implementation specialists, and platform partners.
What you'll be doing
As a Performance Executive, you'll support the delivery and optimisation of digital campaigns while building your expertise across key platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning, implementation, and optimisation of digital performance campaigns
- Briefing the Media Implementation team and assisting with campaign setup, trafficking, and launches
- Monitoring campaign performance and identifying trends, issues, and optimisation opportunities
- Maintaining and updating media plans and campaign documentation
- Preparing campaign reports and post-campaign analyses (PCAs) with clear insights and recommendations
- Presenting campaign performance updates to clients with guidance from senior team members
- Supporting the development of performance strategies and digital recommendations
- Staying up to date with digital media trends, platforms, and innovations
What we're looking for
- 1–2 years' experience in digital media, performance marketing, or media agency roles
- Understanding of digital platforms such as search, social, programmatic, or display
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confidence working with Excel, PowerPoint, and campaign reporting tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and develop digital expertise
