Job Description
About the role
This is not a standard Digital Account Manager role. You're stepping into a team that's already proven it can grow fast and is now scaling again off the back of new business.
Sitting within Omnicom Media's OMG Connect offering, this role gives you direct exposure to both independent agencies and clients directly, working across a purely digital product suite that continues to evolve. The team has the backing of a global network but operates with a start-up mindset, moving quickly, launching new products, and constantly testing what's next.
You'll join an established but still lean team where your impact is visible. The expectation is not just to manage campaigns, but to contribute to how the product evolves, how clients are engaged, and how the team continues to grow.
With strong momentum behind the business and a clear growth trajectory, this is a role for someone who wants to step up, not sit back.
Expect great work, a great team and a flexible culture!
What you'll be doing
You'll own end-to-end digital account management across a portfolio of independent agencies and direct clients, with a strong focus on planning, execution, and performance.
The reality of the role is hands-on but you're going to gain experience across the whole account management cycle from the initial brief through the performance of each campaign:
- Building digital media plans from brief through to execution across programmatic, video, display, and emerging channels
- Working closely with programmatic traders and specialists to bring campaigns to life and optimise performance
- Acting as the day-to-day client lead, managing communication, expectations, and delivery
- Developing strategic responses to briefs, including channel recommendations and full-funnel thinking
- Managing campaigns through their full lifecycle, from planning and setup through to reporting and post-campaign insights
- Owning workflow and delivery through tools like Monday.com, ensuring timelines, quality, and accuracy are maintained
- Overseeing financials, billing accuracy, and campaign performance against KPIs
- Identifying opportunities to test, learn, and introduce new products across video, digital OOH, and audio
You'll spend the majority of your time solving real client problems, building plans, and working closely with a high-performing team to deliver outcomes.
The Brisbane team
The Brisbane office is a big part of why this role stands out.
The team is tight-knit and inclusive. Everyone sits together, collaborates closely, and there's a strong sense of momentum across the broader Omnicom Media Group Brisbane group. It does not feel siloed.
There is consistent energy in the office. Regular team events, monthly cocktail nights, and a culture where people choose to spend time together, not feel obligated to.
The expectation is three days in the office. The reality is most people come in more often because the environment is genuinely enjoyable and productive.
Located right by Queen Street Mall, it is a central, easy place to be during the week. Come and see for yourself!
Who you are
This role will fall over quickly if someone underestimates the pace or breadth. The team is busy, expectations are high, and you'll need to be comfortable owning your space.
You'll likely bring:
- Strong digital media planning experience, ideally across programmatic, video, and display
- Confidence working across platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar
- A solid understanding of how campaigns perform and how to optimise them
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities without losing detail
- Commercial awareness, you understand not just media, but how decisions impact revenue and outcomes
- Clear communication skills, you can explain thinking, challenge when needed, and add value to clients
Equally important is mindset:
- You're proactive and take ownership rather than waiting for direction
- You're comfortable in a team that's still building and evolving
- You want visibility, responsibility, and the chance to make your mark
- You're motivated by growth, both your own and the business
This could suit someone already in an agency looking for more ownership or a growth opportunity, or someone from a publisher or commercial background wanting to step into a broader planning and strategy role.
