Job Description
Leading the implementation team for 7-Eleven's digital and offline media. A mix of offline and digital experience is preferred, with the role skewing more traditional with a heavy OOH and radio skew.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Media Implementation Account Director, you are responsible for the creation of market leading ideas
and responses for our clients. Booking, and managing of campaigns with our media owner and technology
partners alike. You will be managing a team to ensure operational excellence and best in class process
management is in place. Working with senior stakeholders within Media Implementation and across
PHD and OMG, you can ensure that our product is fit for purpose in driving value to our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead the Team
Bring all your trading knowledge to the forefront to help challenge and develop our talented team
as they progress in their careers at PHD. Facilitating training & development plans for your
direct reports that enable the delivery of award-winning work for clients.
Ensure you build the right oversight in tracking performance in client and campaign KPIs.
2. Stakeholder Relationships
experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients and member of Agency alike.
Are able to discuss both conceptually and vocationally at a campaign level as required.
3. Strategic Thinking
Apply a thinker mindset to unearth strategic opportunity. Value driven, focused on extracting value
both in negotiation and optimisations.
4. Workflow Management
A skilled time and resource Manager, you will lead by example in prioritising what's most important
and coaching junior team members to ensure the delivery of high quality work across your portfolio
of clients.
5. Communication
Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders. Including but not limited to
Managers, Directors, Heads of Department & client leads. Including presenting deliverable work
and strategy for approval.
6. Integration
Develop and share best in class work with the Media Implementation communities both within
AGENCY as well as across the group. Inclusive of the teams across the COE, and Media
Partnerships
RESPONSIBILITES IN DETAIL
• Adopt and refine a common set of products nationally with a unified approach, methodology,
marketing collateral and training as set by Head of MI, MI Group Directors & COE
• Oversee your team's product including briefing, booking, and best in class implementation if media.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of Managers, Executives and Assistants.
• Engage with clients & PHD to ensure they are satisfied with their product experience. Work
closely with the Business Management Team to ensure their overall digital product experience
meets client objectives.
• Business development with new and existing clients; including contributing to pitches, proposals,
case studies & acting on opportunities as they crop up.
• Build strong relationships with the media, key clients, third party planners, sister agencies, and the
Business Management team.
• Lead complex campaign level negotiations to ensure value creation across all media channels.
• Work with COE to ensure the underlying technology for buying and tracking is enabled.
• Liaise with Partnership and Trading/Accountability teams when necessary to ensure negs are
aligned with annual targets
• Manage resources within your team to maximize productivity and to deliver on client's objectives.
• Excellent communication skills - being able to both interpret and convey information in a clear,
concise way.
